MHB is an innovative company, established 350 years ago. Today MHB employs over 200 professionals working from its headquarters in Herveld and its modern production facilities.
Continuous focus on innovation makes MHB what it is today. We develop and manufacture our own steel profiles to design windows, doors and facades as well as their respective smart closing and locking systems. It enables us to create unique steel and glass solutions with unmatched performances.
'More Light' with beautiful steel doors and windows literally letting more light in thanks to ultra slim thermally insulated steel profiles, the slimmest in the world. They combine outstanding aesthetics and superior characteristics regarding thermal insulation, wind and water tightness and fire and smoke resistance.
'More Light' also stands for corporate sustainability and social responsibility. These are important themes that have a major impact in the development of our products: low energy costs for our customers, sustainable materials such as 100% recycled steel and very little waste are the result. Each year, an even more sustainable production is our goal.
MHB was founded in 1938 by Johan Mathijssen, grandfather of the current owners.
The Mathijssen family has a long history in working with steel.
The roots of the company date back to the 17th century!
In 1667 Mathijs Henrick started forge work as master blacksmith, which has since been passed on from father to son providing MHB has a solid base and identity.
